“ My lawyers have been calculating each and every one of you. We have screenshots of each one of y'all names, that play with them remixes, in my bio now. So if you play with the 'UH!', you're getting sued, or the 'Smack my ass like a drum', you're getting sued, or 'I'm horny-' ” – cupcakKe playfully acknowledging the remixes on TikTok
cupcakKe Remixes are mashups between popular songs or media and cupcakKe's sexual songs, especially "Vagina," "Deepthroat," "Squidward Nose," "CPR," and "Duck Duck Goose."
Background[]
The first cupcakKe remixes originated back in 2016, after cupcakKe's first songs, "Vagina," "Deepthroat," and "Juicy Coochie" gained attention on social media sites. These remixes were of content such as television show theme songs and pop songs. In a now-deleted Shane Dawson video, he reacted to these remixes, which also brought attention to them. In the podcast episode with cupcakKe, she admitted that she was aware of a remix of her song "Vagina" and Ariana Grande's "thank u, next."
In 2019, cupcakKe made her own remix of Lil Nas X's song "Old Town Road", renaming the song to "Old Town Hoe", and reworking the lyrics to the hypersexualised lyrics that she is known for. Lil Nas X responded positively to the remix, stating "cupcakKe is amazing, I love her."
Beginning in mid-2021, cupcakKe remixes began to gain even more traction on social media sites TikTok and Instagram, as they were used as audios for videos and reels. This led to cupcakKe creating a TikTok account, where she advertised her song "Marge Simpson" by telling users that they were going to get sued for remixing her songs, and to find their names in the link in her bio, which redirected to the music video of her single.
Artists who have had their music remixed with cupcakKe songs have also acknowledged the remixes, including Ariana Grande, Kim Petras, and Ava Max. Recently, a video of Kim Petras listening to the cupcakKe remix of the song "Alone", with her verse replaced by lyrics from both "Deepthroat" and "Vagina" went viral, further showing her acknowledgement and approval towards the remixes.
cupcakKe's Reaction to the Remixes[]
cupcakKe has acknowledged the existence of cupcakKe Remixes, beginning with her admitting to seeing the remix of her music with Ariana Grande's music during her episode of Shane Dawson's podcast.

Following the increasing popularity of cupcakKe remixes on TikTok, cupcakKe created her own TikTok account (@cupcakkeafreak) where she commented on remixes made with her songs. Her first TikTok post, which is now deleted, began a running joke that cupcakKe was going to sue all the people who created or used remixes of her songs.[1] She directed her followers to her bio, where she said all the names of remixers would be listed, however, the link redirected to the "Marge Simpson" music video. cupcakKe also commented on users posts with remixes, saying that her lawyers would be in contact.
CupcakKe told Insider that she likes the remixes and finds them "hilarious to watch", as well as mentioned that opening the app to audios featuring her moaning and sexual lyrics had led her mother to think that she was "addicted to porn." [2]
